Survey of digital textbook practice: Open now!

Our National Survey into open, digital textbook practice is open! We are pleased to invite all teaching staff at Australian universities (including casual staff) to participate in our research into the cost, accessibility and suitability of digital textbooks for the Australian multi-cultural context. It’s part of a NCSEHE funded National research grant into Open Textbooks and Social Justice.

To access the survey, please click the link below. It will be open til mid October: https://researchsurveys.deakin.edu.au/jfe/form/SV_7V8gTs17cj4xBch

The survey is anonymous but we will ask what University you are from. Note that some Universities who are usually also doing local promotion of the survey may also get a copy of the anonymous results filtered to just the responses of their staff, so they can understand sentiments at their uni.

Please make sure you press ‘I consent’ in the online survey entry page if you agree to the conditions of participation – the information sheet (“Plain Language Statement”) is linked to it.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss any aspect of the project, please get in touch with Dr. Sarah Lambert (sarah.lambert@deakin.edu.au) or Ms. Habiba Fadel (habiba.fadel@deakin.edu.au).
