New textbooks by discipline (thanks OEP-SIG!)
August 29, 2021
The Open Educational Practices Special Interest Group (OEP-SIG) is a grass-roots, practitioner-led community that advocates for and supports open education in Australasian Higher Education. Thanks to their hard-working volunteers and the support of ASCILITE (teaching with tech society), the OEP-SIG put out a monthly digest of all things OEP and that includes tracking new open textbooks. Courtesy of their July digest, below is a listing of new open textbooks by discipline. Look out for the Australian authored texts in the Indigenous Studies section.
If this floats your boat, email nikki.andersen@usq.edu.au and ask to be added to the distribution list for the monthly digest.
